HOW GOOGLE HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES

"YouTube turns yesterday into today"  -Eve Welts

Can there be anybody who owns a computer who has not been on YouTube.  Google+ has shown us how open our world is to everyone.  Social Networking has made our lives an open book.  Granted, we could withhold permission, but those of us with nothing to hide (at least that we know of) grant Google the right to go into our computer and grab all our addresses and pictures.  We can even allow all our documents to be grabbed as well, allowing others as well as ourselves to get into them from anywhere.

While those may be risks to some, it may bring our own world to one place, both past and present, touching all of our friends and relatives whom we wish to touch.  With webcams, it has even become more personal than simple texting or keyboard tapping can produce.

We have put encyclopedia salesmen out of work as data would need to be changed too frequently for them to be practical anyway.  Today, typing a word or question gets you an instant answer,  even translating foreign phrases . Define a word; use a tutorial, watch videos of news, concerts, events, even TV shows you missed and so much more can be discovered using Google to find the resources.  Google even has a site for known problems and fixes.

There is even a site to tell you everything Google does.  Click here  If you are having trouble with Mozilla Firefox, try Google Chrome.  It handles videos much better.

Google is your friend Friday.  It will find recipes, resources, fixes, tips, and acts like a personal assistant only with more tact and discretion....at least from what we are shown
