REPUBLICANS GET AN A FOR GREATEST PROMISES

Grover Norquist's puppet, aka Mitt Romney, vows to revive US 'promise'.  Being a political masochist, I have watched all the Re[publican debates I could and as much of the convention as possible.  Everyone that spoke talked about end results and promises to reach them but no one offered real process as just what would be done to get there.  I was like the kid who kept digging through the pile of manure on Xmas for the pony.

Steve Schmidt talked about the achievement of Romney being able to 'navigate' the progression from moderate to severe conservatism to wen the Republican nomination for President .  The man sure has a way with mealy mouthed words.

Rubio spoke after Clint Eastwood who may have been a good actor but whoever wrote this script did not do a good job.  Eastwood had an adequate delivery but what he said did not really belong at the RNC in Tampa.  Rubio gave a chest thumping shout and got lots of applause.  He also did not say how they would get there.

There you have it.  Three days worth of 'promises'. No road map to any way those promises could or would be fulfilled. Rubio pulled a Chris Christie and gave a campaign speech for his own future.

Romney's 'pep talk' bashing Obama and saying nothing about how he would run the country, was like those emails talking about Faith and goodness but no substance...the ones you want to delete before you throw something at the screen!. He told his verbal autobiography, not what he intended to do directly about creating jobs, paying off the National Debt which he says is so important to him,  His talk was like an empty State of the Union speech...I did was throughout with nothing about what I am going to do and this is how.

How sad, the Republicans were rewriting history as it was happening.
