Despite Mr. Cain's accusation that he has no proof but 'knows' that it is a plan of Obama. So far I have not seen a single Republican candidate who claims to have talked with many of the protesters and is willing to listen to their issues. The group calls itself the 99%ers, 1% holds 40% of the country's wealth.
It is not surprising that one might hear anyone protesting say that it is time for them to have a voice. All they ask is for fairness; a concept the Republicans in the House seem not to understand. These Representatives have somehow behaved as though they have been appointed to a level of deity. They have forgotten that they took and oath to represent the people and country first.
An article in BBC News writes: "The Stop the Machine rally joined a like-minded protest, Occupy DC, whose members have been camping since 1 October in a square nearby the White House and lobbying firms." It is lovely to watch as kindred soul who felt disparate interests find they are connected philosophically. That is how movements get started. goals become like magnets. Each new person joining behaves like a magnet as well and, eventually, very large groups ar formed under a single cause. While there are many small groups over the entire country, Their similar valence will connect them in time. We now have the technology, literally in hand, for them to unite without moving from their spaces.
The greedy ones who thought they held the power to make peons of the 99%; Cain and his followers who seem to believe that anyone who isn't working isn't trying hard enough; those who cannot do simple math such as counting the number of jobs available and the greater number of people in need of them; .do not deserve to be considered as competent to hold the Office of President of the United States.
Yes, children, anyone can grow up and become President but only if they are smart enough and trained well enough. Not everyone is and fewer will be unless something is done to raise the level of education for our children.

Here is an interesting blog post on the Occupy Wall Street protest:

Blogger Robert David Graham was unhappy with how the protests were covered, so he went down to Wall Street to find out what was happening. He provides an evenhanded account of the protest that includes details that I have not seen elsewhere.
