RUPERT MURDOCH: SLOWLY BEING EXPOSED TO THOSE HE KEPT CONNED FOR SO LONG.

It has taken a long time for the world begin to see Rupert Murdoch for what he really is.  He has lied and hired liars.  He has lied to influence elections.  He has gotten rich off the Right Wing moralizers, bribed, intimidated, and violated all journalism principles.  He has added great amounts to his wealth by publishing Christian literature.

A few days ago, Les Hinton and Rebekah Brooks, two top executives  of Murdoch's News Corp  staff in the UK, resigned.  For more on his, click here.  "A BBC article writes: 
In a statement, Mr Hinton said: "I have watched with sorrow from New York as the News of the World story has unfolded.  I have seen hundreds of news reports of both actual and alleged misconduct during the time I was executive chairman of News International and responsible for the company.
"The pain caused to innocent people is unimaginable."".

One has to wonder how a reasonably intelligent group of people can have been fooled by  Murdoch's outfits for so long.  In the United States it has been "Fox Noise News"  has been a voters biggest disappointment.

While we bailed out corporations deemed 'Too big to fail'; some like the Murdoch empire should be deemed 'Too big to exist:.  We should have stuck  to our rules about not letting media outlets get too vast.'

PICKING UP TIDBITS AS I GO ALONG

Every day in which something new is learned is a good day.  Sometimes it isn't really something new, but rather something is confirmed about which I previously only had a hunch.Having hunches concerned is good.  It allows me to feel my judgment is still pretty good.  That is a lifelong process to keep my sense of adequacy intact.

There are many people who seem to dote on Glenn Beck's rages.  I presume it is hard for them to have an independent angry thought and, of course, Beck can give them the whole fire and brimstone megillah.  Recently , Jan  Frei wrote a\on AlterNet about the 6 greatest paranoid attacks on 'Progressives' by Glenn Beck.  His inflammatory rhetoric will cause more deaths.  These are some of the areas in which he is building up to chaos and terror for some...if not ultimately all of us.

The abortion doctors who were killed in the past few years are not enough for Bill O'Reilly and Beck, their impotence vicariously uses the easily riled up few on hair triggers in guns.

Ted Turner mentioned on TV today, a slogan of his is "quitters never win; winners never quit'.  I like that one.

ARE THE INNOCENT, HELPLESS AMERICANS TO BE FORCED BY THE GREEDY YET AGAIN?

The ecological disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is infuriating. As things currently stand, BP's legal liability is "capped" at a maximum of $75 million. That's less than BP makes in profits in one day! The rest of the astronomical clean up costs will be paid by us -- American taxpayers. Sign the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund's petition and tell your members of Congress to pass legislation that lifts the oil liability cap and the cap on punitive damages.

How in the world of Congressional Chutzpah can someone really insist on capping payment responsibility on the greedy failing to use good judgment and  money to prevent or minimize the cost to the environment and to innocent taxpayers, already impoverished due to greedy corporations?  The weak cry that it would stop small businesses from investing in similar oil drilling falls somewhat flat on my astonished ears.

Already the talking heads are trying to estimate what it will cost American taxpayers, while we have legislators  (who allegedly have benefited greatly from the largess to them from the oil companies who should have been putting the money towards safeguards rather than politicians' greed) who are thinking of their 'gold, egg laying, goose' rather than the people who voted them into office to represent them; not themselves only.  Don't allow these few in the Congress to add this burden onto the shoulders of the people who have already picked up the bill at the dinner party too often.
