about Romney's trip to Europe as an international audition. :"He also faces the tricky task of contrasting himself with Obama while
staying true to his promise not to openly assail the president while on
foreign soil, honoring longstanding tradition that American politicians
don't criticize their government while abroad. Drawing implicit
contrasts with the president also could be difficult because Romney has
so far not outlined sharp foreign policy differences with his Democratic
opponent."
Evidence of his naivete and inability to see reality comes from this Romney quote: "I don't want to be in any way critical of the president or to be
fashioning foreign policy departure from the president, while I'm on
foreign soil," Romney told NBC News during a Wednesday interview in
London when asked about how he would help Israel as president. "But I
can tell you that, that with regards to any nation that, that feels its
security is at risk that they should have a firm conviction that America

Is Romney really so big a fool that he doesn't know that everything he says on the campaign attacks is known to all the countries of the world. The campaign is being carefully monitored by the international community. Obama has been quite well rated over his tenure so far in office. Romney may think his charm will win him favors but it is doubtful he will accomplish anything but harm America's sense of unity. Unfortunately, Romney's narcissism will not allow him to give Obama any credit for the great work he and his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and many others have done.He believes to have foreign policy savvy but has yet to say a word to prove that.

The authors suggest that Romney's Trans-Atlantic foreign policy needs a reboot. They write: "Likely Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will visit
the United Kingdom and Poland at a time when the GOP's policy toward
Europe seems to be trapped in the days of the Cold War. It will be a
chance for him to update his outdated views."
"Apart from criticizing Obama's Russia policy, the most remarkable
feature of Romney's vision is his lack of approach. His 48-page document
outlining his foreign-policy strategy does not once mention the North
Atlantic Treaty Organization or the European Union. That will certainly
be a source of concern for his European hosts, two of the largest
members of both organizations and countries with two of the largest

This Blogger clearly misunderstands our P{residents constant global presence as Romney seems to do. Romney criticizes President Obama in the States while intimating that he will not do so on his tour. He doesn't need to say a word elsewhere. Everything that happens in the US (or any other place for that matter) is global within seconds. That Romney does not see this is yet another reason he is not ready to be President of the USA. If the Republicans don't cheat their way to the White House with the attempts to fool the public that they are trying to curb voter fraud, we the people may be fortunate enough to get to continue another four years with a competent person. Further, with luck, some of the incompetents currently in the Legislative positions who are stonewalling all progress might not be re-elected.
